Woodhead Residence on the corner of North Broadway Street and College Street, Los Angeles, 1883. A brick, Romanesque building sporting a rosetta window on the roof over the entrance faces the camera, surrounded by a dilapidated garden. Picture file card reads "Built by Mullally". This house was said to be the first brick house in Los Angeles.

The photograph was taken from the sidewalk and it shows the front yard with a tree on the left, two small bushes at the base of the porch, planters along the length of the porch, and a dormer above the main entrance. The adobe was built in the early 1800s by Pedro Ybarra, but the exact date is not known.
